
1. Fine mid 19th century carved rosewood marine stick barometer. The register plates of well engraved ivory with adjustable vernier scale via ivory setting knob. The spiral trunk inset with ivory mercury Fahrenheit thermometer, terminating in brass cistern cover; the whole supported on brass gimbals.

Fine quality bow-front stick barometer, with swan-neck pediment centred by brass urn finial, above engraved silvered brass register plate with adjustable vernier via ivory setting knob. The trunk veneered in best quality flame mahogany and terminating in ebony urn shaped cistern cover.

Good early 19th century mahogany stick barometer with break-arch pediment over engraved silvered brass register plate bearing mercury Fahrenheit thermometer and behind glazed door. The trunk herringbone veneered and terminating in turned cistern cover with ebony and ivory inset.

4. Thomas Blunt - London.
Very good quality late 18th century mahogany stick barometer with round top. The hand engraved silvered brass register plate typical of this makers engraving. The trunk veneered in fine Cuban mahogany with exposed mercury tube and terminating in egg shaped cistern cover.

Unusual oak cased farmers stick barometer. The moulded pediment with hand painted porcelain register plates bearing wet and dry mercury thermometers. The trunk with exposed mercury tube and terminating in square shaped cistern cover.

Good late 19th century brass cased Fortin style stick barometer on mahogany back board, with engraved silvered brass register plate, the trunk set with mercury Fahrenheit thermometer and terminating in exposed mercury reservoir.
