BBC - Whilst you don't
have to register for this one, the British Government still manages to extract over £80
per household for a Colour TV Licence. The funds from which go toward just two of the four
national TV channels in the UK. That's why the licence payer gets a bit twitchy sometimes.
On the other hand the BBC still operate two TV channels and five national radio stations,
free from commercial breaks... (er...apart from all the adverts telling us the BBC is
great! - TechEd)
