In and Out

What starts out as a slow-ish film actually turns into a really very funny movie indeed.

Howard Brackett is a school teacher, just three weeks away from his wedding to his long term (or should I say long suffering) fiancée. He would not marry until his famous pupil gets nominated for an Oscar.

Subsequently he wins the Oscar and the whole of the small town in Indiana is watching. As Mr. Brackett's famous pupil drops a Bomb Shell in his acceptance speech. It is what he claims at the award ceremony that is the basis of the film.

The subsequent revelation brings the full weight of the Media into Green-leafed Indiana as it follows Mr. Brackett around in his Normal Daily life. Enter Tom Seleck as the reporter trying to save his career, and in the process throwing Brackett into even more turmoil.

The whole auditorium was laughing hysterically as we give it 8/10
