Andy Austin is a hypnotherapist practising Ericksonian hypnosis and neurolinguistic programming. He claims no qualifications other than a handful of 'O' Levels and a cynical attitude towards 'experts' and 'professionals'.
Andy used to work as a registered nurse in Accident and Emergency and was sometime as a researcher in cardio-electro-physiology, he only claims this because he thinks it sounds better than merely saying that he was "just" a nurse.
He does not exercise, believe in ghosts or own any cats.
Andy is the founder and co-ordinator of the Southampton Hypnosis Research and Study Group.
