THE JACKAL
The Jackal has reminiscences of Se7en (Seven for the uninitiated) and Demolition Man. Why I hear you cry? Well the beginning of the film is exactly like Se7en due to the scratchy disjointed credits and Demolition Man because the story line of the film is the same. Release a criminal to catch a criminal.
All this aside the film is a little slow but gripping and intense, which make up for the lack of tempo. There is an element of humour in trying to keep up with Bruce Willis's wigs and guises, not to mention which country you are in.
There is the love interest of cause because what film would be complete without it. The Love interest is an unlikely one. There is the usual "I knew that was coming" scenes, and a subtle hint to the twist in the film, And the ending is fitting.
Overall its worth watching we gave it 7/10
