Kermit
A file-transfer protocol that incorporates error checking, now little used by most platforms support it. Can transfer binary files over 7-bit communication links.

keyboard
A device used to enter data into a computer containing many keys similar to those on a typewriter, while others are specific to the operation of computers (such as cursor control keys, arrow keys etc.).

kilobyte (KB)
A measure of RAM, ROM and hard disk space, equal to 1024 bytes (ie 2 to the power of 10) approximately 1000 bytes.
